My Woodworking Story

In 1997 my wife and I moved into a house that had a small unfinished room in the finished basement. It had a plywood workbench mounted to one wall, and after we had been there a while my wife bought me a magazine called “Scrollsaw Woodwork and Crafts” and suggested that I use the shop to make some wood things. So really, this is all her doing…

I bought a scrollsaw and started making Christmas ornaments and other scrollsawn crafts, and found that some people were interested enough to buy them from me. Over the years, I reinvested any money I made back into tools and supplies, and learned how to make bigger projects including small furniture and jewelry boxes. Now I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience, I have some wonderful tools and a very nice shop as well. God has blessed me greatly, and I hope to continue woodworking for years to come.
